Exploring Tensions in Neutrino-nucleus Cross Section Data
July 25-31, 2016
University of Pittsburgh, Dept. of Physics and Astronomy
sponsored by PittPACC
- closest hotel is Wyndham Gardens, Lytton Ave in Oakland, within short walk of the department. We have a block of rooms reserved. Send your requested dates to Cindy Cercone (cmc138@pitt.edu). Be sure to note this is for Neutrino workshop. We get special rate there, other places are possible but no special rate and further away.
- We have reserved 4 rooms in the main Physics building for the workshop. Main room is good for our entire group with working space for all. Other rooms have large table (room for 10 laptops) and about 20 chairs. All have projectors and screens.
- Guest internet will be available
- We will provide all lunches and 1 dinner
- Possible format: meet together at beginning of each day in main room for updates from each group including reports on studies. Then, break into groups for the real work. Groups could be by subject or by task.We might want to get together again at end of day to summarize progress/questions.
- Extension to 7 days was needed because some people couldn't attend in 4 day period. Although both QE and pion work will be underway during the entire period, we will tend to emphasize QE in the first 4 days and pion production in the last 3 days.
